Clinical Specialties

Dr. Johnson-Greene’s clinical interests and expertise focus on providing neuropsychological assessment and intervention services for persons with acquired neurological illness and traumatic brain injury, such as dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, aneurysm and brain tumors. Some of his specific clinical interests include: adjustment to disability and the impact of depression and other psychological factors on achieving rehabilitation goals; evaluation and treatment of somatoform or pseudo-neurological disorders; alcohol/substance abuse and its implications for recovery from neurological illness.

Research Interests

Dr. Johnson-Greene's research interests include: assessment and interventional issues in people with brain injury and illness; alcohol abuse and hazardous drinking in vulnerable populations; ethics and professional issues relating to training and practice; epidemiology, biostatistics and public health.
